Dear Coach Gasso, "Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity you and your coaching staff gave me to visit your beautiful campus. The university was absolutely gorgeous and I was so thankful and blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful men and women. The girls on the team were so much fun to be around and put things in perspective so that it was easier to understand. I learned so many new things from pitching to hitting and will be working on them every day when I practice.
I would also like to inform you that on the weekend of October 19-21st, my team and I are participating in the ASA Florida's Finest tournament being hosted in Tampa, Florida . I will send the schedule as soon as we receive it. I would greatly appreciate any interest from any coach to be in attendance. Thank you again for everything. I appreciate all of the opportunities I was given."
Thank you! - September Prospect Camper
"Hi Coach! I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to your camp. It was an amazing experience especially for a 9th grader. Touring the college and participating in the camp was a privilege and all in all, showed me what hard work and determination can get you. Having the girls from the team help teach was beneficial for me because I learned to drive my hips more and turn on my tippy toe when batting. The campus is gorgeous and I especially like how all the buildings are built with brick. The privileges that athletes get are awesome and are like nothing I have ever seen. This experience taught me that I really want to go to a college-based town because it seems like a great atmosphere to live in, and the people in Oklahoma are extremely friendly. Before this camp I wasn't thinking I would enjoy going to a college in the "middle of nowhere." But now I know it would be an honor to attend and play at any college where the people are so supportive. So thank you for setting me straight on that. I look forward to going to any future school camps that I might be invited to, especially if it's OU or any other 'college town.'
P.S. How can I post a comment on your website about the camp? I want everyone to know what an awesome school OU is."

"Hi Coach Gasso, Thank you very much for inviting me to your softball camp last weekend! I had a fantastic time in Oklahoma with you, Coach Lombardi and Coach MacKay, and want to let you know that I remain very interested to become a Sooner. I especially enjoyed going onto the football field and playing games afterward with you and the other players and coaches. I am also excited to know that Oklahoma offers the major (Exercise Science) that I wish to study in college.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and to visit the Oklahoma campus again in the near future."

"Hey Coach Gasso, Thank you for inviting me to the camp this last weekend. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed seeing the campus and the facilities. Working with your players and coaches was awesome. I wish we didn't leave early Saturday evening but we needed to get back and help our team on Sunday.
Thanks again for inviting me this past weekend and I am looking forward to watching some Sooner Softball very soon!"
Sincerely, - Parent

"I just wanted to give you a follow-up shout to let you know how much we enjoyed the camp last Saturday. The girls were challenged and we learned a lot. I was very impressed with how you, Coach Gasso and the rest of the Sooner girls interacted with the girls and made each of them feel very welcome. We have been to several camps and have not seen that quality thus far. The information that was shared was very valuable and the girls have come home and put it right to use by sharing it with their teammates."
Rhonda Burrough (Mother)
"My daughter was pretty worn out from the long weekends of qualifiers but the whole camp experience just totally reenergized her. She has been talking about so many of the things she learned there and has implemented them in her play. The coaches and players were so hands on with each child; it was something I really didn't expect. I think most of all was the real drive the coaches had to help the girls learn to communicate their passion for softball on the field. She learned by watching the other girls and how the players and coaches talked about their attitude. She has been practicing daily using, especially, some of the drills she learned at camp at her tee."
Thanks again. It was a really great experience and we enjoyed the time we spent in OK.
Coach Roland Rodriguez (Camp Instructor)
"After the season has wound down, it's like I get to recharge my battery prior to hitting the recruiting trail, or even working another camp. While my employment keeps me wrapped up throughout the year, I look forward to OU camp with an excitement and fondness like no other. I've never failed to leave there without having learned something from you, one of your staff or players. You've made me feel welcome and for that I'm very appreciative.
Through all the silliness, sarcasm and fun that takes place I want you to know that I'm extremely proud to be there with you and I'm hopeful to continue the relationship through the upcoming years/seasons."

"I just wanted to thank you again for the softball camp yesterday. It was really fun, and I learned a lot. The pitching drills were awesome! Oklahoma is definitely my #1, but I have been to other camps and none of the pitching drills were as strength building as the ones we did yesterday. Coach Lombardi taught me a new grip for my curve, and it was improved tremendously! Also, Coach MacKay had many ideas I had never heard of before, but they were brilliant! I had never been to the campus before, but I fell in love. It is a beautiful place and I would absolutely love the opportunity to get an education there, and play softball for you. Thank you so much for everything! The camp was a blast! Good luck with your season and I'll be in touch!"

"I can honestly say today's camp was, hands down, the best softball camp I've attended to date. I think what I loved the most was how involved your players were. They were so helpful, and they weren't afraid to tell us what we were doing wrong, which is something I've never experienced before! Savannah (not sure if I spelt that right...) was really helpful with my throwing. It's amazing how tweaking one little thing can make your throw so much stronger and a lot faster. And Lindsey and Jeannie were very instructional in the outfield drills we did which helped me so much. The things I learned today are things I'll carry with me for the rest of my career and I wanted to thank you for that. The six hours of softball definitely put me in an awesome mood. It was nice having the opportunity to work with you and your team, and I greatly appreciate all of your help."

"I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for the great couple of days we had this past weekend. I thought the coach’s clinic was terrific on Friday night and I will definitely be incorporating many of those drills into our team. I was also very appreciative to how forth coming you were in your strategies and approach to the game, that was great insight and again I will be making some adjustments to the way I coach my team based on what I learned from you guys this past weekend.
I also wanted to let you know that I thought the camp ran very smoothly and the girls got a lot of work in and I really appreciated the planning that you did for the scrimmage games to make the girls think and execute certain situations it was obvious to see the amount of planning that was put into the weekend and because of that I think it was very successful from our standpoint. I also really appreciated the interaction that your coaching staff had with our coaches and the players there were many things that the girls were able to take from this weekend and I just wanted you guys to know that I thought you, your staff and the players did a great job!"
